Blood donor consent
Version 1 · in force from 28 Oct 2026
Terms · Privacy · Community rules · Business listing agreement · Employer terms · Grievance officer
When you register as a blood donor on MyDistrict:
- You are registering voluntarily and you will donate without any payment — selling blood is not allowed in India.
- You are 18 to 65 years old and, to the best of your knowledge, healthy enough to donate. The hospital or blood bank decides whether you can donate.
- You agree that your name, blood group and area are shown to people looking for donors in your district, and your mobile number only if you choose to show it.
- You can remove yourself from the list at any time.
- MyDistrict only helps people find each other. It does not check donors, collect or test blood, or arrange transfusions, and is not a medical service.
We keep an electronic record of your consent, which you can see in My District → My agreements.
